This is the first license you get when you start out on your adventure in amateur radio. Even if you do not understand electronics, the instructors will teach you everything you need to know to confidently pass the test. The course consists of 8 weeks of classes twice a week. This class is held during the fall, the book that is required is ARRL's "Now You're Talking".5th edition. This book costs approximately $20.00. Next class will be September 8 to November 3, 2008. Sign-up now.
